Brigadier-General Dan Menard, Canada's top officer in Afghanistan, also said the addition of more U.S. troops to Canada's mission and changes in force's the patrol area will allow it to better control where and when battles take place. "I believe we will be in a position to be able to deal with them on our terms (and) where we want them to fight, and not the opposite," Menard told reporters in a conference call from Afghanistan.
